Appin House
20 minutes from coastal Wollongong and 1 hour from Sydney, nestled amongst the Australian bushland you’ll find the wholesome and homely Appin House wedding venue.
Built, owned and operated by the husband and wife duo Ernie and Patricia, the couple designed Appin House for the sole purpose of providing a luxurious and charming wedding venue to greater Sydney and the Illawarra region. They dreamily drew up sketches of Appin House in the early ‘90s not realising these dreams were going to become reality. In 2000, their application was approved and the construction of Appin House commenced in the historic town.
Once you see photos of Appin House, you’re instantly delighted by its old world charm and welcoming warmth. There’s 2.5 acres of lush landscaped gardens that are exclusive to you on your big day and make for gorgeous backdrops for your photos.
