While it’s a bit of a hike up, there are clear walking tracks to lead you to a view that is well worth the trek. Due to the lengthy walk, this location is ideal for pre-wedding photoshoots.
There is also a driving track, but it is winding, so it is important to check with your lift or limo company to see if they’re vehicles can make the trip.
ANZAC Park
One of the most popular wedding photo locations in Townsville is around the Rotunda in ANZAC Park. While it is a historic and solemn place, it looks beautiful in photos.
With luscious lawns and the Casino Marina in the background, this park is the perfect location for wedding photos.
Due to its popularity, this park can get extremely crowded during the wedding season. So, you may have to be patient when trying to get your photos if you go during the peak.
The Strand
